BauBuche is produced from beech veneers on a continuous press. In the outer plies, the veneer joints are visible as scarfing joints. As beech veneer is a natural material, it might also feature knots, cracks and colour variations.
BauBuche boards are exclusively available in “non-visible” quality.
During the processing of the boards in the continuous double belt press (Contipress), a dark, shiny layer is produced on the outside, known as the pressing skin. This skin is subsequently removed by sanding. Please observe the specifications below.

The scarfing joints at the top of the board are produced with light-coloured glue, while those at the bottom are made with dark glue. The top plies feature joints at intervals of 1.82 m or 2.42 m respectively.
